.iwi.nz Moderation Policy Review Submission

Aotearoa Maori Internet Organisation (AMIO) believe that Iwi have the right 
to grow their online presence. It was only in recent years when the policy 
was modified with Iwi/Maori input that the 2LD grew from only a handful of 
names to where it is at now. 

AMIO support the proposed .iwi.nz policy. 

AMIO also support the notion that an Iwi consultation group is established 
with interested Iwi and chaired by the .iwi.nz moderator(s) to discuss future 
changes to the .iwi.nz domain. That as a result of the iwi consultation that 
the changes are accepted by the NZOC and DNC if the proposed changes are in 
accordance with other .nz policies.
