Hello folks,

I am not making a formal representation from any iwi, but here is 
my personal opinion for what it is worth

1. The decision to extend to include a wider range of groups under 
the iwi category seems a reasonable one.

2. The decision to allow other trading enterprises in the iwi to 
also register without any apparent restrictions in format etc is 
potentially damaging one.  I agree that it may be sensible for 
iwi to be able to include these but it should be only as a subfield 
attached to an approved iwi name "ngatixxx" otherwise the whole iwi 
name thing will turn to spam.

e.g.     health.ngatixxx.iwi.nz
       learning.ngatixxx.iwi.nz
        history.ngatixxx.iwi.nz
        tourism.ngatixxx.iwi.nz

That's my line for what it is worth.
