Have you ever stopped to think about that ".nz" domain name you enter to access your online banking or browse the web? .nz domain names are an important part of New Zealanders' online experience, and this is your chance to get involved in a governance role focused on .nz policy and regulation.
Internet New Zealand Inc (InternetNZ) is responsible for the .nz domain name space and is the sole shareholder of the Domain Name Commission Ltd (DNCL). DNCL oversees the .nz domain name registration and management system, including developing policies and procedures and governing operational elements of the .nz country code top level domain.
Applications are sought from suitably qualified individuals to fill a Director position on the DNCL Board. In addition to holding existing directorships, or being a successful senior executive, the ideal candidate will have experience in community advocacy or similar.
