.nz policies
The .nz domain name space is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) assigned to Aotearoa New Zealand. It represents us on the Internet and is managed for the benefit of us all. The .nz Rules and Schedules set out the rules for parties involved in the .nz domain name space.
The Domain Name Commission is responsible for enforcing the .nz rules.
InternetNZ is responsible for creating and consulting on the .nz rules. Any questions regarding these rules can be sent to the Domain Name Commission via our online contact form.
Please Note: The new .nz rules and schedules came into effect on 31 March 2023. These replaced the Operations and Procedures Policy and the Principles and Responsibilities Policy.
