InternetNZ is reviewing its policy regarding the release of the .nz zone file to organisations outside the registry company. The current policy can be seen at http://dnc.org.nz/content/zone_transfer.pdf

A Call for Public Comment document outlining the key questions for the review was published by the .nz Oversight Committee. The review is being made in the context of the whole .nz policy framework and will include consideration of wider issues — especially privacy matters.

Public comment on the draft policy was sought, and closed on Thursday 16 October 2003.
