We’ve continually refreshed content and improved functionality on the ODR platform (powered by Immediation) so that users can easily navigate their way and use the technology.
Step 1: Submit
When you commence mediation, you will be taken to our unique page to immediately sign up and register your complaint. You will need to provide:
- A brief description of the issue and the domain name in dispute
- Reasoning for your claim of an unfair registration
- Any supporting documentation (this can be added later)
- Email address and name of the other party/ registrant
- Email and name of your lawyer/ support person (if attending)
Step 2: Review
Our team will review your submission, and you will be notified within 3 business days of the outcome of your submission.
Most submissions are approved. Once approved the responding party will be notified and invited to participate. We work with the other party to engage them in the ODR mediation process.
Step 3: Engage
Once both parties are engaged, you will receive further information, such as:
- Advice that a mediator has been appointed
- A request for you to sign the Agreement to Mediate
Your mediator will work with you to set up the online mediation at a time that works for you. You also have access to a coach at the DNCL who can assist with any process or technical questions you may have.
